Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Interface with operators, technicians and other production personnel to understand and communicate improvements that needs to be done and has been done. Install, maintain and repair instrument devices. Read technical diagrams and blueprints. Perform general instrument maintenance. Troubleshoot instrument issues using appropriate of testing devices. Repair and replace equipment. Setting up calibration program Contribute in maintenance program optimization. Train others in maintenance specific tasks. Evaluation of needed spare parts of the equipment. Together with the rest of the team, being a key player to develop and maintain a safe work environment. CNC Engineer

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for skilled CNC engineer to join our passionate Tooling and Workshop team in Västerås. As part of our rapidly expanding team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growing production needs and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality components. In joining us you will play an important part in developing green batteries. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society. You will be working intimately with technicians, engineers and other production personnel. Your focus will be on manufacture of high precision components using a range of CNC and manual Machine tools which are required to support the Developing teams in R&D and lab. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, turning etc. Perform routine periodic maintenance of the machines. Manufacture parts on manual lathe & milling machines. Work closely with Tooling Engineer and design teams. Help with delivery of departmental objectives and improvement activities. Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc. Adherence to all company procedures and processes. Maintain high shop safety, quality and 5 S standards. Attend role specific training as required. Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly. Validation Engineer

Northvolt is now looking for Validation Engineers in the safety and environmental test group to be part of our growing team in Västerås. This is your chance to contribute to the development of the world's greenest and most sustainable Li-ion battery cell. With your exhaustive experience in battery testing, you will play an integral role in the validation and qualification of our safe, long-lasting, high-performance battery cells. This includes taking the responsibility for project deliveries and reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. You will also work with a broad perspective from high-level prerequisites and concept development in the early phases to the later project phases managing planning, development and delivery.
