Production Quality Technician

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Production Quality Technician to join our Skellefteå team. In joining us, you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. The Production Quality Technician will take part in regular quality inspections as well as audits and trainings for operators. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent, measurable, and well documented quality throughout the production process. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to Follow the controls defined in the Control Plan Inspect rejects and suspect parts from the production line. Document as appropriate. Raise and close Non-Conformities Escalate when a critical defect occurs and conduct first-level-investigation on the root cause, including facilitate special/non standardized sample inspection Participation in containment actions When applicable, identify new failure type to be included in Failure Catalog (FC) Training operators in quality related tasks Make sure that material that should be scrapped is correctly labeled and communicate the decision so the person responsible can execute the scrapping action. Automation Engineer

Control Room Manager

We are looking for a experienced Control Room Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Production Control team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key contributing to building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Join our team as a Control Room Manager where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring production efficiency, quality, and safety within our manufacturing environment. You'll collaborate closely with the Manufacturing Site Manager, contributing to the planning and coordination of daily activities to meet production targets and uphold quality standards. Your role involves supporting team leadership by providing guidance, training, and fostering a collaborative work atmosphere that maximizes team productivity. Additionally, you'll assist in enforcing quality control measures and safety protocols, contributing to the resolution of any issues affecting product quality. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Escalation Tracking for Efficiency: Ensure effective tracking of escalated issues to enhance production efficiency, quality, and safety controls. Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with Manufacturing Site Manager to plan and coordinate daily activities, optimizing processes, and ensuring the right resources for efficient workflow. Leadership and Support: Provide guidance and support to manufacturing teams, fostering a positive work environment for enhanced productivity. Quality Assurance and Safety: Assist in enforcing quality control measures and upholding safety protocols, contributing to the resolution of quality issues and ensuring compliance. Facility Management and Communication: Assist in overseeing equipment and facilities, manage inventory levels, and act as a key communicator between production, management, and stakeholders. Inventory Specialist

We are looking for a driven Inventory Specialist to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our passionate Production Control team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in contributing to building one of the first large scale European battery factories. As an Inventory Specialist you'll play a pivotal part in maintaining the accuracy of our inventory systems and shop floor materials. Your primary responsibility will revolve around ensuring precise alignment between the physical stock and the system records, meticulously tracking material flow to fulfill specific requests. You'll dive into inventory management, meticulously monitoring and maintaining accurate records of raw materials and semi-finished goods. Conducting regular physical counts and reconciling discrepancies will be part of your routine to guarantee inventory precision. Collaboration with production teams is key in this role. You'll work closely with them to understand material requirements, ensuring timely availability to support seamless operations. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Stock Accuracy Assurance: Ensure precise alignment between shop floor inventory and the system, monitoring material flow for specific requests. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of raw materials and semi-finished goods, conducting regular physical counts and reconciliations for inventory accuracy. Production Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to meet material requirements and ensure timely availability for seamless operations. Communication Proficiency: Effectively communicate with supervisors and stakeholders to address stock-related issues promptly.
