JOB DESCRIPTION As a Computational Biology Scientist, you will play a key role in driving data analysis workflows for customer and internal validation projects. You will take ownership of project design, biological interpretation, and stakeholder communication, working closely with wet-lab scientists, the Applications Team Lead, and R&D to ensure high-quality, reliable data insights. Key responsibilities: Design and interpret analysis strategies to support application development and pilot studies. Execute image preprocessing, cell segmentation, and spatial metrics extraction using established pipelines. Compile and visualize results into standardized reports for internal use and customer delivery. Collaborate on refining methods, troubleshooting, and prototyping new analysis metrics. Ensure data traceability and compliance with Moleculent's data packaging standards.  QUALIFICATIONS To fit this role well, you should hold an MSc or PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, image analysis, spatial omics, or a related field. It’s a strong advantage if you have done a postdoc in a relevant field. Fluency in both written and spoken English, along with strong computer skills, is essential. Experience in clearly and effectively presenting data—both in writing and in oral presentations—is a key requirement. Proficiency in Python and spatial single-cell analysis, with the ability to design, execute, and interpret analysis workflows for complex datasets. JOB DESCRIPTION As a Lab Technician, Applications and Fee-for-Service at Moleculent, you will play an important role in supporting customer projects and internal application development studies. Working primarily in the laboratory, you will be responsible for sample handling, assay execution, quality control, and laboratory operations to ensure reliable, reproducible, high-quality data. Over time, you will take on increasing responsibility for independently managing Fee-for-service project workflows and supporting the scale-up of our service operations. Key responsibilities: Prepare for experiments by organizing workspaces, confirming sample lists, and ensuring required consumables and equipment are available. Receive, handle, track, label, and store FFPE tissue samples according to established SOPs. Perform experimental workflows using prepared assay kits and standardized protocols. Execute tissue staining and multiplex in situ assay workflows under established procedures. Perform assay quality control checks and review imaging results for completeness and consistency. Accurately document experimental procedures, reagents, conditions, and results to ensure full traceability. Support troubleshooting activities and contribute to workflow optimization together with Applications and R&D teams. You will work closely with Product Management, other R&D Leads, and your team of development scientists to systematically scale up our antibody-based assay development. Your main responsibility will be to implement and drive our antibody panel development process – taking prioritized target lists through antibody feasibility screening, assay development, and validation.   This is a hands-on technical role with operational leadership responsibility. You will work in the lab yourself while setting direction for how development of new panels is executed across the organization.  Key responsibilities include:  Own the full new panel development lifecycle: from target intake and feasibility screening, through assay development, to validation and release.  Define and optimize the validation process: Establish clear go/no-go criteria, maximize throughput, and ensure scientific consistency while balancing product timelines.  Operationally lead a team of 3–6 content development scientists: Drive alignment on experimental strategy, prioritization, data interpretation, and decision-making.  Work hands-on in the lab: Actively participate in experiments, antibody and assay validation, data analysis, and data reviews.  Serve as technical expert: Participate as Technical Lead or Core Team member in product development projects.  Make data-driven decisions: Set go/no-go criteria and make informed trade-offs about which targets to pursue under time and resource constraints.  QUALIFICATIONS To qualify for this role, you hold a PhD or MSc in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life science discipline (or equivalent industry experience). You bring at least eight years of proven hands-on experience in immunoassay development and antibody-based assays in tissue. Relevant industrial experience is required.
