About the role As a Fullstack Developer, you’ll play a central role in one of our product teams, within Aira’s Acquisition area. The focus of these teams is to craft web applications at the heart of Aira’s energy solution design and installation planning systems. These applications are fundamental to achieving a world-class customer experience and span across tools for designing the solutions, as well as planning and scheduling the installations. The team develops data products for modeling Aira's field force optimization as well as the tools to support installers on-site, at the customers' homes. What you bring to the team Proficiency in frontend development, particularly with React & Typescript. Experience in automated testing to ensure application reliability and performance Experience writing backends in a classical object-oriented language like C# or Java We would also expect you to have experience in at least two of the following areas: Writing backend code in Java and Spring Boot Databases (e.g. DynamoDB/PostgreSQL) Event-driven architectures (Kafka) Cloud DevOps (AWS, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes) gRPC and protobuf What is in it for you? About the role You'll be instrumental in scaling our business and enhancing our customer experience through various technical initiatives. As a Backend Developer, you will: Build intelligent systems to automate sales operations, enabling our sales teams to focus on what matters most - helping customers make the switch to clean energy. Supporting sales by building sophisticated recommendation engines that suggest optimal product setups based on customer input. Develop robust backend services to support our expansion into new markets and regions, ensuring our platform can handle different regulations, currencies, and local requirements. Work on comprehensive payment solutions, including prepayment options, direct payments, and instalment plans, making clean energy technology accessible to more households. Design and maintain core infrastructure that supports our product catalog and enables rapid addition of new clean energy products and services. Work on transforming how people discover and embrace clean energy by creating digital experiences that educate, inspire, and simplify the path to sustainable technology. What you bring to the team Solid experience with product-driven software development and agile environments Experience with Java and Spring Boot Automated testing at different levels (unit tests, integration tests etc.) We would also expect you to have experience in at least two of the following areas: Rapid growth journeys (start-ups, scale-ups, new environments) Databases (DynamoDB/PostgreSQL) Event driven architectures (Kafka) Cloud DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, continuous delivery, logging, metrics) gRPC and Protobuf Terraform Kanban, Scrum and/or a combination of both What is in it for you? About the role Our Test and Verification Department is expanding, and we are looking for a Test and Verification Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will primarily focus on conducting tests and measurements in our lab and analyzing the results. You will actively set up and operate heat pumps under various conditions while performing electrical and mechanical tests, as well as minor modifications to heat pump systems. Collaboration with the refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical teams will be a key part of your responsibilities. What you will be doing: Setting up, connecting, and conducting tests and measurements. Troubleshooting system issues, including both hardware and software. Performing minor modifications to heat pump systems. Analyzing measurement data to draw actionable conclusions. Writing detailed test reports and documentation. Developing test cases and procedures. Testing software functionalities. Contributing to the continuous improvement of work processes. What we would like you to have: Knowledge in energy systems, physics, electronics, or a related field. Proficiency in refrigeration technology and thermodynamics (prefered but not mandatory). Experience in testing hardware products, ideally heat pumps or HVAC systems (not required but beneficial). Basic software knowledge. Hands-on experience in electrical or HVAC work (preferred). Additionally, we value: A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, along with adaptability to manage frequent and fast changes. A preference for a blend of practical and theoretical tasks. Quick learning abilities and a solution-oriented approach. A willingness to thrive in a dynamic startup environment, often requiring proactive initiative.
