Key responsibilities Define and maintain architecture for your domain (Linux, Android, Hypervisors or AUTOSAR) Lead architectural decisions across platform layers and integration points Contribute hands‑on to ensure technical feasibility and implementation quality Ensure alignment with ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 Produce architectural documentation and design guidelines Conduct performance analysis, design reviews, and risk assessments Mentor engineering teams in platform development best practices Collaborate across domains and with technical partners Required qualifications We’re looking for someone with a strong engineering background and a deep understanding of modern software platforms. You likely hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field and have 10+ years of experience in embedded or software development. You are confident in at least one major domain and comfortable working close to hardware, system software, and low‑level architecture. You communicate clearly, enjoy breaking down complex ideas, and take ownership of your technical area. Core experience we’re looking for Expertise in at least one area: Linux system architecture, BSP, kernel subsystems Android Automotive (framework, HAL, system services) Hypervisors / virtualization / mixed‑criticality AUTOSAR Classic (BSW, RTE, MCAL) or Adaptive Strong programming skills in C/C++, plus Python or scripting Solid understanding of SoC architectures, bootloaders, drivers, low‑level bring‑up Experience with CAN, LIN, or Automotive Ethernet It’s great if you also bring Knowledge of containerization, virtualization frameworks, or mixed‑criticality Familiarity with CUDA, DSP, or multi‑core optimization Experience working with OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers, or platform vendors Understanding of OTA update concepts and secure platform design Why join? At Coretura, you’ll join a company built around engineering excellence and a clear mission: to drive the transition toward Software‑Defined Vehicles through strong architecture, deep expertise, and a culture that empowers senior engineers. Our SDV approach focuses on clarity, modularity, and predictable integration across Linux, Android, Hypervisor, and AUTOSAR domains. You’ll contribute to shaping these foundations — and the way modern vehicle software is structured and delivered. You will also be part of a highly skilled, transparent, and people‑driven environment where your experience is trusted and your ideas have real impact. Collaboration, autonomy, and technical curiosity are at the heart of how we work. We look forward to meeting our next colleague. If this sounds like you, don’t hesitate to apply!

As a Bazel Build & Tooling Engineer, you will shape the foundation of our entire engineering workflow. You design and maintain a scalable Bazel‑based build ecosystem that supports large monorepos, multiple languages and cross‑platform toolchains. Your work ensures our developers can build, test and ship software quickly, reliably and repeatedly. You’ll own Bazel architecture, build logic quality, remote execution setups, multi‑mode build configurations and cross‑platform toolchains. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering teams to refine build behavior, enforce best practices, and troubleshoot complex build issues. In this role, you elevate build performance, improve developer experience, and ensure our build system remains robust as we evolve our software‑defined vehicle platform. What you will do Design and maintain clear, scalable Bazel build rules and workspace structure Improve build performance, dependency graphs and reproducibility Integrate remote execution, remote caching and CI build pipelines Support multiple build modes (debug, release, profiling, coverage, sanitizers) Contribute to consistent compiler and toolchain configurations Support cross‑platform build scenarios (e.g., Linux, Android, QNX) Troubleshoot build issues and improve build system reliability Who you are You have strong experience working with Bazel in complex or large‑scale environments. You enjoy working close to the build chain, solving deep build‑related problems and enabling engineers to work efficiently. You value clarity, scalability and predictable build behaviour. Required skills Strong knowledge of hermetic, sandboxed and incremental build workflows Experience with remote execution and caching setups Understanding of multi‑language build environments Ability to optimize build graphs and diagnose build issues Experience in designing and enforcing compiler flag policies for C/C++, including security hardening (PIE, RELRO, stack canaries, FORTIFY) and sanitizer integration (ASan/UBSan/TSan). Nice to have Good Python skills Knowledge of other build systems (CMake, Ninja, Make, Gradle, etc.) Experience with C++, Rust, Java or Go in Bazel‑based environments Familiarity with CI/CD scaling for large engineering teams Why join us? You will work at the core of our developer platform, impacting how engineers build, test and deliver software every day. Your work will directly improve productivity, stability and scalability across the organization. Quality Assurance & Validation Tester
Evo Truck SDV AB
Systemtestare och testledare

About the role We are looking for a quality assurance & validation tester to join our virtualization test team. In this role, you act as an internal customer and evaluate how the system behaves in real use cases across embedded, cloud‑based and virtualized environments. Your focus is on performance, robustness and user‑centred behaviour — understanding what works, what doesn’t, and why. You will validate practical workflows such as logging into portals, accessing cloud features and running embedded functionality. By challenging the system through exploratory and non‑functional testing, you uncover unexpected behaviour and provide clear go/no‑go decisions for each delivery. What you will do You will work hands‑on with behaviour‑driven testing, validating user stories, capabilities and complete user flows. You explore how the system responds under different conditions, verify stability when new features are introduced and identify issues that appear outside predictable scenarios. In addition, you will: You assess each delivery and give a clear go/no‑go decision grounded in actual test results Validate reproducibility in virtualized environments Compare performance between virtualization and target hardware Run integration scenarios with multiple virtual components Apply fault‑injection techniques to expose weaknesses Check timing, synchronization and behaviour under varying load Assess scalability in larger virtual setups Investigate undocumented or unexpected system responses Who you are You have a background in software testing and a natural curiosity for how systems behave in practice. You look beyond written requirements and focus on what users actually need. You enjoy isolating problems, identifying root causes and helping the team deliver stable, reliable functionality. Required skills & experience Solid background in software testing Ability to design and execute test cases Familiarity with exploratory testing methods Understanding of performance‑focused and other non‑functional testing Capability to test embedded or hardware‑related functionality Ability to validate user journeys and act as an internal customer Confidence in providing clear go/no‑go decisions It's a plus if you have Knowledge of QEMU or similar virtualized environments Exposure to hardware‑in‑the‑loop test setups Familiarity with safety‑related test documentation Experience validating cloud‑based functionality Why join? In this role, you work close to the product and play a key part in ensuring that every delivery is reliable and user‑ready. You help developers understand real system behaviour, uncover weak spots and contribute to a more stable and predictable platform. You’ll join a modern engineering environment where clarity, curiosity and hands‑on problem‑solving are central. Coretura is a joint venture between Volvo Group and Daimler Truck, building a standardized, open and scalable software‑defined vehicle platform for the next generation of commercial vehicles. Based in Gothenburg, we focus on high‑performance computing, core vehicle software and modern developer tools, enabling faster and smarter digital innovation.
