About your job In this position, you act as an expert in your field, as you develop best practices and usage examples, monitor our cloud spend daily and prepare weekly and monthly reports to review. You collate, analyze and prioritize cloud optimization recommendations and calculate potential savings, both for central commitments and for subscription specific commitments. Included in your job are also tasks related to billing and invoicing. By working closely together with engineering teams, you implement cost optimization recommendations. You also collaborate with product and app owners, engineers, architects and Business Area CIO’s to manage and share best practices to create even better solutions! Included in your responsibility: Provide expert knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies – for example rightsizing or power scheduling. Regularly track, monitor and report on RI/SP savings, coverage and utilization. Assist with quarterly updates to public cloud spend forecasts. Optimize cost allocation and tagging strategy to eliminate or minimize unallocated cloud spend. Track all savings opportunities, including decisions, on right-sizing recommendations. Leverage experience by undertaking additional responsibilities as required, such as billing and reporting. The location for this position is either at our site in Gasverket in Stockolm or at Sandbacka Park in Sandviken. We offer you a hybrid work schedule where you can spend some of your days working remotely. About you We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science or information systems, combined with experience of Cloud FinOps within a large enterprise or cloud spend optimization. You have a FinOps Practitioner certification, and we see it as beneficial if you also have a FinOps Professional certification. Acting in a global environment calls for excellent English skills, verbally and in writing. Knowledge in Swedish is a plus. Other skills needed: Practical knowledge of cloud provider cost management capabilities and pricing models. Experience with Azure and Azure cost management tools as well as in building custom reports and dashboards. Experience with cloud economics, services and pricing models. Working knowledge of cloud cost management tooling or cloud cost optimization platforms. Experience with reserved instances and saving plan recommendations, tagging policies, forecasting, anomaly detection and lifecycle policies. Beneficial is experience with AWS and previous work with change management. Yes, hard skills are important, however, it all comes down to how you are as a person! Lease system administration and maintenance of the SRS databases. Profitability analysis and monitoring on equipment level. Forecasting for all SRS operations and ad hoc reporting. Your profile We’re looking for someone with a couple of years’ experience in accounting, controlling and reporting. You’re skilled in business and leasing contract administration and have a good understanding in different financial product offerings.
