The role The segment of Paint and Pre-treatment is one of our most dynamic areas, with high impact on overall cost, delivery stability and sustainability. We are challenging the status quo in many areas right now and are trying to find new innovative solutions with our suppliers and cross functions. In your role as a sourcing manager you will be responsible for the paint segment, defining the supplier base, setting strategies for the material groups and aligning the strategies cross functionally and within the Traton group. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and continuously manage potentials and risks within the supplier base, mitigating delivery disturbances and other kinds of deviations, in close cooperation with our colleagues from risk management. One of your responsibilities is creating business plan activities and to deliver on those, ensuring competitive prices and that we reach our targets for the team and department. Leading the 3-ring team, which consists of colleagues from the project and quality team, is an important part of your work. Here you assure a good collaboration so strategies are defined, activities are set up and goals are achieved across our value drivers technology, quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.
