JD2: VOLVCAJP00001719 CAE Engineer: The Side & Roof department within R&D at Volvo Cars is responsible for the development of complete doors and roof structures for all Volvo cars. Development work is mainly conducted within the department and in close corporation with manufacturing, design, suppliers, and external partners. What you’ll do: In this role at Side & Roof you will be a part of a small team of two CAE engineers where you support the development of complete doors and glass during all the industrialization phases, from concept phase to post-production. You will support cross-functional collaborations with designers and engineers to deliver our products with the desired performances within the specified deadlines. Together with concerned stakeholders you will recommend product solutions that fulfil all the legal and attribute (safety, durability, NVH, corrosion, weight) demands.
