Role Overview  As Sales Manager – Government & Public Sector, you will lead B2G sales of Candela’s vessels into government-led infrastructure projects and public transport systems. This role demands expertise in public procurement, policy alignment, and navigating complex governance structures.  You’ll engage early with authorities, influence project requirements, and guide initiatives from pilot programs through formal tenders and contract awards. Success depends on credibility, patience, and the ability to align technology with long-term public value.  Key Responsibilities  Own and drive B2G sales with municipalities, regional governments, and national authorities.  Build relationships with public-sector decision-makers and policy influencers.  Engage in early planning phases to shape feasibility studies and technical specifications.  Lead public procurement processes (RFIs, RFPs, tenders) and ensure compliance.  Position Candela’s solutions based on climate impact, lifecycle value, and societal benefits.  Represent Candela in government meetings, public forums, and policy discussions.  Required Experience  Proven track record in B2G sales or government-facing commercial roles.  Deep understanding of public procurement frameworks and compliance requirements.  Ability to sell on public value: sustainability, cost efficiency, and societal impact.  Strong stakeholder management across technical, commercial, and political environments.  Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.  M.Sc. or B.Sc in Business administration or equivalent (mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, etc..) 8+ years of experience in sales or a similar role Nice to Have  Experience with EU-funded projects, PPPs, or innovation programs.  Background in transport, maritime, or infrastructure projects.  Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for public transport.  Success Metrics (12–24 Months)  Secured government contracts or framework agreements.  Converted pilot projects into full-scale deployments.  Institutionalized Candela’s B2G sales processes and public-sector playbook. We are looking for Accountant to support Candela’s future growth ambitions. Purpose and Goals We are looking for an Accountant that wants to be a part of our journey. You will work with accounting, taxes and financial reporting. You will also have a key role in establishing new ways of working and developing the accounting function. The accounting function is today outsourced in Sweden and US but as we grow, tasks and responsibility will gradually be taken over by the Finance team. You will be able to support Candelas continued expansion phase to ensure that we maintain high-quality in our financial reporting processes. Your role will cover a broad range of tasks with a good degree of variation. Your core responsibilities will include: Create, send and collect on all customer invoices, accounts receivable Manage and record customer payments and deposits into the accounting system Update and reconcile banks and stripe accounts · Manage accounts payable and vendor management Post general journal entries to ensure proper recording of new purchases and disposal Assist with other prepaid and accrual journal entries on a monthly basis Assist in month-end review and balance sheet reconciliation Assist in tax filings and statutory reporting Ad hoc reporting and special projects, as requested Payroll administration, support and reconciliation of accounting Review financial information for accuracy, report errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency Follow up on internal controls and their support of the governance framewor What are we looking for? Purpose and Goals As a Business Controller, you work across the areas of financial and operational planning, financial reporting, KPI and operational report. Supporting the strategic planning for Candela is also part of the role. You have a strong contribution in developing new ways of working within our Finance function as we grow. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to shape the financial direction of a fast-scaling technology company, with exposure to investor reporting and board-level planning. Your core responsibilities will include: Drive and develop the financial planning process, including quarterly forecasting, long-term strategic planning, scenario analysis, and business planning in support of capital raises. Compile operational and financial information into monthly reports for management and the board of directors. Assist in month-end reviews and balance sheet reconciliations. Review financial information for accuracy, report discrepancies, and propose efficiency improvements. Support ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed. · Follow up on internal controls and contribute to a strong governance frameworks. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree within Business Administration, preferably with focus on accounting. · +3 years working experience with accounting and or controlling. General understanding of accounting principles such as K3 and IFRS. Effective communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
