What you will do As a Facility Manager at Novo, you will play a critical role in developing and executing maintenance strategies for our facility area, ensuring reliability, cost-effectiveness, and safety. You will join the team during design and construction installations with responsibilities of providing inputs from Facility Maintenance perspective to influence design decisions. You will manage the Site Logisgic, Facility Commissioning and Facility Engineering team for proper handover of areas and utility systems. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing health and safety policies, recruiting and developing a world-class maintenance team, and setting strategies for internal maintenance and outsourcing. Additionally, you will oversee preventive and reactive maintenance, control facility activities, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your responsibilitie s will include: - Manage Facility Engineers, Commissioning, and Site Logistic responsibilities during the design and construction installation phase. - Develop and implement processes for proper transition of areas and utility/process systems from the construction team to facility operations - Review and advise on the CMMS system and take lead in the development and implementation of such system - Provide proper inputs into the material handling requirements from a Facility Maintenance standpoint. - Develop and execute maintenance strategies for facility maintenance, focusing on availability and cost-effectiveness. - Supervise all facilities staff and external contractors, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards. - Create and execute plans for preventive and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal facility operation. - Review utilities consumption and strive to minimise operating costs. You will work through adaptation of coating process/equipment design to NOVO requirements, acceptance testing at the supplier site all the way to commissioning and sign off in our NOVO site in Gothenburg before handover a functioning system to production. Key responsibilities will include: - Provide process engineering support in slot die Coating of battery electrodes - Understand the effects of coating process changes upon product quality attributes and performance - Lead design reviews and FMEAs with Coating equipment suppliers and approve machine design concepts, technical drawings and documentation - Provide feedback and guidance to coating and mixing equipment suppliers to ensure equipment quality, technical specifications and CE safety standards are met - Develop and issue DOEs and schedule process and equipment trials at supplier sites as well at NOVO site - Lead the definition and release of standards for manufacturing Coating Process based on the trials and lessons learned performed on the way - Provide start up assistance by utilizing cross functional experience to drive process quality improvement and process efficiency improvement - Own and lead commissioning activities on site and support handover to production - Actively participating and sharing all relevant information within a cross functional team on a regular basis. Vad du kommer att göra Du kommer att vara en del av vår ’Facility & EPC’ (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) organisation. Vårt uppdrag är att projektera och bygga en toppmodern och effektiv Gigafabrik som kommer möjliggöra Volvo Cars transformation till en elbilstillverkare. Som installationsledare (Design Construction Interface Manager - MEP & Process Utilities) kommer du arbeta i en ledande position inom installationsprojekteringen av batterifabriken. Du kommer ingå i ett team som ansvarar för utförande av alla installationer i en specifik sektor av fabriken och rapportera till teamets blockchef (Sr. Construction Manager). Du kommer att agera som främsta kontaktperson mellan vår byggande och projekterande organisation. Ditt främsta ansvarsområde kommer vara integrering och uppföljning av projekteringstidplan. Detta innefattar tätt samarbete för att säkerhetsställa byggbarhet, kostnadseffektivitet och kvalité på tekniska lösningar. Vidare kommer du arbeta tätt med ’Sr. Constuction Manager’ och ’Construction Manager’ i ditt team för planera, samordna och genomföra entreprenader. Arbetsspråk kommer vara engelska. Exempel på ansvarsområden och arbetsuppgifter: - Integrering av projekteringstidplan mot inköp och entreprenadpaket - Följa upp projekteringstidplan och ha en tät dialog med byggproduktion - Granskning av tekniska detaljer och system tillsammans med våra ingenjörsteam - Vid behov stötta med projekteringssamordning - Samordna insamling av tekniska krav från alla tekniska intressenter och se till att projektörerna får all nödvändig information i rätt tid. - Stötta arbete med driftsättning samt dokumentation inför slutbesiktning - Proaktivt arbeta med projektstyrning och ÄTA-arbete - Säkerställa snabba svar på frågor och förfrågningar från entreprenörer - Vara en ambassadör för NOVO:s projektkultur och leda genom exempel Din bakgrund: Du har en bevisad erfarenhet av att leda olika team från olika branscher, bakgrunder och kulturer. Du leder med exempel för att skapa en samarbetsvänlig miljö tar fram det bästa ur projektmedlemmarna. Du är en utmärkt kommunikatör och delger tydligt fokus och prioriteringar till projekteringsgruppen. Samtidigt är du flexibel i att ändra fokus och anpassa planen efter ändringar och nya förutsättningar Tjänsten kräver att du har en stark teknisk bakgrund, antingen inom en särskild disciplin eller som generalist. Vi ser helst att du erfarenhet av liknande stora industriprojekt. Dessutom har du en bakgrund inom eller i nära samarbete med byggentreprenörer inom storskaliga projekt. Du har en mycket god förståelse för byggprocessen. Du har en bra förståelse för komplexiteten i projektet och är välorganiserad för att hantera parallella arbetsuppgifter. Nödvändiga kvalifikationer: - Högskoleexamen inom relevant område - Minst 5 års yrkeserfarenhet i jämförbar roll - Erfarenhet av storskaliga byggprojekt med betydande komplexitet, erfarenhet som totalentreprenör är en fördel - Utmärkta färdigheter i skriftlig och talad engelska. Du måste ha förmågan att diskutera tekniska ämnen med olika målgrupper - entreprenörer, ingenjörer och medlemmar från olika avdelningar inom organisationen. Önskvärt: - Erfarenhet från stora industriprojekt är mycket fördelaktigt - Erfarenhet från att jobba i internationell miljö - Erfarenhet från svenska byggarbetsplatser - Erfarenhet av arbete med BAS-P relaterade uppgifter Volvo Cars is one of the most well-known and respected car brands in the world.
