The Opportunity HVDC is recruiting a dynamic professional with strong experience in Main circuit equipment to HVDC in Ludvika. The Engineering department primarily focusses on developing new solutions based on market trends, drives innovation, process improvement, and increasing productivity within the HVDC domain. How you´ll make an impact Lead the scope of Main Circuit Equipment in HVDC projects. Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams including main circuit design, plant design, supply chain, and project management. Provide expert technical support throughout the project lifecycle, ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote knowledge across the organization Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in HVDC, power transmission, HV equipment manufacturing, or HV testing. Strong understanding of HVDC technologies (LCC/VSC) Proven experience in electrical design and analysis. Excellent communication and leadership skills, Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus. Join our team, this is your chance to make a difference”- Yasir Iqbal Ratyal, Field Operations manager at Power Quality How you’ll make an impact Ensure the successful execution of testing and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements from the beginning of the project to the final handover to the customer. Implement commissioning design changes and provides mark-ups for as-built project documentation. Acts as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders. Coordinate site activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance Certificate. Give feedback to the organization to apply lessons learned and work on continuous improvements together with the team. Apply and improve processes and tools in your technical area to ensure effective project delivery. Your background You enjoy problem-solving and are engaged and driven person who are true team player. You hold a university degree in Electrical, Power electronics engineering, and some years of similar work experience within services or commissioning of electrical power plants and/or control systems. Previous experience from HVDC or FACTS applications is a merit. You can read and understand protection/electrical drawings and technical documents; must be able to disseminate this information to project teams. You communicate effectively and act decisively. You are open to travel up to 80%. Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required to be able to interact with various stakeholders, proficiency in Swedish is an advantage.
