About the Role: As a CBRE Critical Facility Manager, you will manage the team responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repair services to an established Sweden based data center operator at the client location. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments. What You'll Do: Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. Manage the relationship with the client while working with other stakeholders to meet all MSA requirements. Ensure that all records are updated following any changes made. Ensure that documentation is also kept up to date for all applicable processes. Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments and present to Sr. management. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement. Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes. About the Role: As a CBRE Senior Data Center Day Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance, complex corrective repairs, and technical troubleshooting within a large Data Center operation. What You'll Need: Technical apprenticeship, trade qualification, military technical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically 5+ years of experience in Data Center, critical facilities, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or mission-critical environments. Strong knowledge of critical infrastructure systems including electrical distribution, UPS, generators, HVAC, BMS, EPMS, and fire/life safety systems. The Role In this role, you will contribute to day-to-day operations and service delivery within your assigned area or site. Responsibilities include: Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential issues, and carry out repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems. Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems. Review assigned work orders, estimate required time and materials, and track completion using available systems. Support energy management initiatives by ensuring building systems operate efficiently. Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations and report any violations to Management. Follow established procedures to resolve routine technical issues and deliver work according to defined processes and standards. Who You Are We believe you have: High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, stooping, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset. Ability to follow established work routines and standards. Good communication skills and the ability to exchange straightforward information effectively. Acting as a trusted partner to the Workplace Operations Lead, this role ensures continuity of leadership, drives operational initiatives, and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders and service partners. The Assistant Lead plays a critical role in translating strategic vision into operational execution, supporting the team to deliver consistent, efficient, and customer-focused facilities services across all sites within the geographical scope.
