How you’ll make an impact Lead and develop a team of Area Sales Managers as their first-line manager. Own and manage the sales budget across multiple regions and customer segments. Develop, plan, and execute a comprehensive marketing and sales strategy for the team. Set clear targets and drive their achievement through continuous performance monitoring and improvement initiatives. Lead product, industry, and segment marketing, establishing strategic and tactical plans that support the broader organization. Build and maintain a high‑performing team through effective structure, staffing, coaching, motivation, and cross‑collaboration. Drive the S&OP process, ensuring accurate sales forecasting and alignment with operational capabilities and business priorities. Grow existing business and identify new opportunities while continuously improving sales processes. Prepare sales reports, perform data‑driven analysis, and collaborate closely with managers and key stakeholders across local and global teams—while exemplifying the Hitachi Energy Leadership Pillars. Your background Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, engineering, or another related field. Proven leadership and line‑management experience with the ability to lead, develop, and inspire teams. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with experience in complex technical sales, tendering, and customer engagements. Several years of experience within High Voltage Products or a similar business environment. Knowledge of switching applications within HVDC and bypass applications within FACTS is a strong advantage. Experience in S&OP, forecasting, pricing processes, and working with Salesforce. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you are an active listener, confident presenter, and people‑oriented communicator. A leadership style grounded in strong work ethics, results orientation, open collaboration, and customer focus. Willingness to travel and proficiency in English; Swedish or other languages are an advantage.
