Core responsibilities: Work in the electrical workshop with pre-assembly of in-house designed electrical components. Work in the boats with installation of electrical components and cables. Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, cost reduction and process improvement. Working closely with manufacturing engineering and following guidelines and work instructions given by the company. Follow rules and regulations working with personal protective equipment given by the company. Who are you? You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay thorough and focused by being organized and well structured. You enjoy interacting with people with a wide range of backgrounds and experience and have the ability to motivate and achieve results through others. And most importantly, you think the products we are developing and producing are really cool! To be successful in the role: You have technical education in the electrical field or equivalent experience You have experience and knowledge in working with a wide range of electrical systems and tools. You are used to using and understanding electrical schematics. Be able to stand for extended periods and work hands-on as well as working within tight spaces. Be able to communicate in English as it is required in your daily work. It is a bonus if you have: Experience of working with 400+ voltage systems. Experience of working with CAN Buss NMEA 2000. Experience from working in the boating industry. Northvolt has an exciting job offer for an Industrial electrician to join our bold team in Skellefteå. You will be working intimately with the operators, technicians and other production personnel where your focus will be to execute electrical maintenance in the factory. Performs routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods. Documents test results. May perform simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement. May maintain logs and records indicating malfunctions Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Interface with operators, technicians and other production personnel to understand and communicate improvements that needs to be done and has been done. Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. Read technical diagrams and blueprints. Perform general electrical maintenance. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures. Contribute in maintenance program optimization. Train others in maintenance specific tasks. Evaluation of needed spare parts of the equipment. Together with the rest of the team, being a key player to develop and maintain a safe work environment.
