Om Göteborgs Bildverkstad Göteborgs Bildverkstad är en kreativ plattform för bildkonst. Vi erbjuder en teknikstark arbetsplats för olika former av bildskapande och för bildproduktion. Våra medlemmar är konstnärer, fotografer, filmare, illustratörer, serietecknare, animatörer, formgivare, arkitekter, bokförlag, kulturproducenter och gallerier. Göteborgs Bildverkstad håller till vid Klippans kulturreservat. Vi har deltidsanställd personal på vår verkstad som stöttar medlemmar i sina produktioner. Styrelsen ansvarar för långsiktig planering, medan personalen sköter den dagliga verksamheten. Personalens fokus är medlemmarnas behov, teknisk support och kurser. Personalen ansvarar också för föreningsadministration, löpande ekonomi, budgetering, bidragsansökningar, etc. Arbetsuppgifter Löpande hålla introduktioner för medlemmar i hur man använder verkstadens utrustning. Underhåll och service av arbetsstationer och utrustning. Hantering av tekniskt avancerad utrustning. Planering av workshops och kurser inom bildproduktion för att hjälpa medlemmarna utveckla sina kunskaper och färdigheter. Hålla bra och tydlig kommunikation med medlemmarna genom att dela lättförståelig information både online och i personliga samtal. Ge administrativt stöd till verksamheten och styrelsen. Kvalifikationer Vi söker en serviceinriktad, initiativrik och tekniskt kunnig person som kan driva projekt självständigt och effektivt. Du kan förklara teknik och funktioner enkelt för personer med olika bakgrund och behov. Du är flexibel och lösningsfokuserad, strukturerad och har god organisationsförmåga. Som en del av ett samarbetsorienterat team är det viktigt att du har god samarbetsförmåga och är öppen för nya idéer. Krav Teknisk kunskap och skicklighet i olika printtekniker samt bred kunskap inom digital bildhantering. God kunskap och erfarenhet av att hantera digital fotoutrustning. Administrativ erfarenhet. Goda språkkunskaper i både svenska och engelska samt lätt för att uttrycka dig i tal och skrift. Meriterande: Erfarenhet av Epson storformatsskrivare, Hasselblad Flextight X1 filmskanner, Mac arbetsstationer, och/eller Epson flatbäddsskanners. Erfarenhet av bland annat Canon EOS C70 och Canon EOS R5 systemkameror. Erfarenhet av Adobe Creative Cloud med särskild vikt vid Photoshop. Erfarenhet av självständigt arbete med administration i en liten organisation. Pedagogisk erfarenhet och erfarenhet av support eller motsvarande. Vi lägger stor vikt vid personlig lämplighet. Do you want to work in a fun environment, alongside a talented team of artists, to deliver content for millions and millions of happy kids? As a Senior Artist in Toca Boca World’s content team, you’ll take a leading role in creating quirky items and colorful environments, in line with a fun and playful art style that is constantly evolving. You’ll join a creative and friendly studio, where diversity and inclusion are core values! What you’ll be doing As a Senior Artist, you’ll be responsible for setting a high creative standard and ensuring that the visual quality of Toca Boca World continues to delight and inspire millions of players. You’ll work closely with the Lead Artist and Art Director to shape and maintain the artistic vision of the project, while also being a role model for your peers. You’ll create high-quality vector art assets, patterns and colour schemes, and collaborate with designers and programmers to ensure that your work integrates seamlessly with gameplay. Optimising 2D assets for performance without compromising quality will be part of your craft, as will contributing to ideation, concept development, and creative workshops. Your role goes beyond asset creation: you’ll mentor junior artists, sharing knowledge and guiding them to reach project standards. You’ll regularly present and communicate your work to the wider team, encouraging constructive feedback and fostering collaboration across disciplines. When needed, you’ll step into leadership responsibilities, acting as a bridge between the art team and other crafts to keep workflows smooth and efficient. You’ll embody the Toca Boca values of playfulness, inclusivity, and creativity, ensuring that every piece of art produced serves as an example of the quality we aspire to. Is this you? You are an experienced 2D Artist with a strong portfolio that fits the Toca Boca World art style, and you’re highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator. You’ve worked several years in a game studio and you’re confident about taking on a senior role where both craft excellence and leadership matter. You bring individuality and personal style to your work, while adapting to the Toca Boca Creative Principles: diversity and unisex design, quirkiness, attention to detail, and a kid’s perspective. You'll be part of a cross-functional team where you communicate and collaborate with teammates across disciplines on a day to day basis. You can follow creative directions, while also contributing your own ideas and sharing your process in a clear and structured way. What we’ll be looking for in portfolio - A 2D Illustration style that can translate well into Toca Boca World (vector style illustrations) - Illustrations that show an understanding of colour and composition - Personal projects and your personal style - Your Adobe Illustrator skills Your portfolio will play a key role during our selection process, so we recommend that you make sure it’s up to date and includes what we’re looking for.
