Responsible for developing inspection methods for new raw materials and intermediate products in Quality Control department in Skelleftea. As an Development Engineer in our team, you will primarily be responsible to lead the development and validation of characterization methods for a group of raw materials and intermediate products utilized/produced in our various lines. Key Responsibilities including but not limited to the following: Drive the development, validation and implementation of new analytical methods for raw materials, intermediates and finished products. Responsible for developing quality standards, procedures and documentation associated with the analytical and laboratory work. Run analytical testing on a range of instruments including interpretating, reviewing and reporting data/results to our internal customers. Responsible to maintain a set of analytical instruments to a high standard, train and share knowledge on instruments and methods with other team members. Drive operational excellence by being a key player in day-to-day problem solving and process improvement exercises. Understand and internalize QA/QC principles in everyday functions. Contribute to 8D production investigations as well as the characterization of next generation battery materials. Work across many parts of the organization, collaborating with production technology, production quality, supplier/customer quality, Revolt and R&D teams. Work with external suppliers, institutes and academic organizations as well as customers. Drive operational excellence by being a key player in problem solving and process improvement exercises. Maintaining instruments to a high standard. Training of technicians. Qualifications and experience Msc with laboratory experience in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, Natural Sciences or Engineering Experience in R&D, quality control, or an analytical laboratory in a relevant industry. Reporting directly to the Quality Compliance Manager, ensure adherence to certification standards, executing essential testing procedures, and meticulously managing documentation and reporting processes. Contribute to implementing corrective actions, integrating the conformity of production (COP) process, and actively participating in environmental compliance efforts. Key Responsibilities including but not limited to the following: Assure compliance with certification standards across the organization, encompassing ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and other relevant industry-specific benchmarks. Conduct routine testing and inspections, verifying compliance and identifying avenues for enhancement. Efficiently manage comprehensive documentation and reporting systems, pivotal for quality and environmental compliance activities. Collaborate effectively in coordinating both internal and external audits, ensuring meticulous planning, seamless execution, and adept resolution of audit findings. As Manufacturing Associate, you must contribute to the company business and success by making Revolt a great place to work. You must contribute to a safe and good work environment. Your tasks will vary depending on the part of the factory but will include a bigger responsibility for maintenance, quality or material handling. You will have a key role in contributing to a safe work environment. Revolt aiming for the world’s most equal and including workplace. Key Responsibilities including but not limited to the following: Awareness of production plan at all times and performance against it. Ensure working instructions are followed at all times. Control the equipment and process materials used in our production. Ensure all customer and internal Quality requirements are always met. Attendence at all specified production and inter-departmental meetings. Report incidents using defined system/documentation. Escalate incidents following defined escalation procedures or corrective action guidelines. Completion of root cause analysis using approved methods, and the tracking and completion of resulting actions. Accountability for maintaining and continuously improving 5S standards. Ensure all routine tasks (daily/weekly etc.) such as calibration, asset care, 5C are carried out and recorded in the appropriate log. Communicate proactively with all other operations departments (e.g. Process, warehouse, quality, QC labs, maintenance, IT) to make sure they are aware of any useful information that will prevent losses in plant performance. Ensure high quality of department reporting and KPIs. Perform risk analysis and issue permits according to routines. Work proactively together with the maintenance team. Take proper action when having failures and deviations affecting the production, report these as well as doing root cause analysis to solve the issues. Participating in rotation of work duties, in order to develop competence within the shift team. Work with continuous Improvement (CI) for shift team. Qualifications/education/experience A relevant education (e.g., industrial program at gymnasium level, automation operator/technician education, process operator/technician education) Experience from working with some of the following; permit procedures, near miss reporting, safety audits, maintenance audits, process control systems, and daily following up on safety actions is an advantage. Responsible for receiving and analyzing incoming materials, product intermediates and finalized products for Research & Development and Production using a range of analytical instruments according to set work instructions. Key Responsibilities including but not limited to the following: Perform testing of all routine control plan inspection items including some special requests analyses using a variety of laboratory instruments. Execute work instructions accurately and follow protocol. Report data/results as instructed, and take correct actions when results are found to be out of specification. Able to troubleshoot basic problems arising on the instruments, utilizing the help of senior personnel for more major issues. Understand the fundamentals of method development and validation and participate in the execution side. Execute method improvement plans; help write and update standard operating procedures as needed. Perform regular (daily, weekly, monthly) preventive maintenance on instruments as instructed by instrument owner. As required, take on equipment ownership responsibility including: Ensure consumables, chemicals and other tools required for the instrument are in stock and ordered on time. Set up and ensure preventive maintenance routines are followed by all users. Ensure continuous adherence to 5S around the equipment and its workstation by all users. Ensure only trained users are using the equipment.
