About the area Core Business Retail Concept is assigned to protect, expand, and develop the IKEA Concept and the IKEA Brand in existing and new markets globally. This includes sharing IKEA knowledge and learning across the entire franchise system. Within Retail Concept, the Concept Description team has the core responsibility to describe the IKEA Concept and keep it up-to-date, relevant and accessible for all 220,000 IKEA co-workers. We do this to enable co-workers to understand and successfully implement the IKEA Concept consistently across all IKEA customer meeting points (stores and digital touch-points) in all IKEA markets. We’re looking at new ways of producing, sharing, and boosting content. This requires us to develop our content offer and next level experiences which we can scale effectively. About the job As a Concept Description Specialist, you are responsible for leading content owners through our processes to deliver up-to-date, easily accessible and high-quality IKEA Concept content which has impact across IKEA. You will define and develop content topics in collaboration with partners and in line with our conceptual framework. You will build and maintain strong working relationships across IKEA organisations. Together with colleagues in the team and related partners you will contribute to developing and designing the future content experience. About you You have five plus years of retail experience and a good understanding of retail concept. You’re a self-starter who can lead and co-create with others and work independently to develop great content experiences. You have excellent communication skills with the ability to create engagement and make complex tasks understood and actionable. You have knowledge and experience of working with insights and can put them to practical use. To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills, and experiences would be valuable: You have experience in leading processes and activities end to end. Ability to lead, inspire and co-create with others. Excellent at building networks and relationships with partners and stakeholders. In-depth understanding and experience of working with retail concepts and changing customer needs. Knowledge of digital content development processes. An awareness and understanding of how AI can assist with the development/production of content. Independent, self-motivated and a strong team player, who’s also capable of flying solo.
