Tasks Exterior dept. is now looking for a Lead Design Engineer with excellent CATIA skills that prefer the industrial phase and finalize the parts for tooling setup. The detailed design work is done inhouse, in close collaboration with suppliers and mold flow engineers. We expect you to have expertise towards designing knowledge in Exterior design and be self-driven. The work principles within the Exterior Systems is flexibility and the possibility to use what you excel at together with a strong sense of co-operation; this meaning that you as part of a team will also support activities in other areas as well as you will get support on your area. Qualifications - Bsc. or above in Mechanical Engineering - 7-10 years min experience working with a Major OEM or reputed Tier 1 supplier - Strong experience in CATIA V5 (7-10 years+ Automotive R&D only) - Passion for details in creating robust and reliable designs for mission-critical applications. - Proficiency using CAD and advanced analysis tools to design components and assemblies and to create technical drawings in a PDM environment. Usage of tools such as PTC Integrity, System Weaver or equivalent. * Ensure components are fully documented and validated. (e.g. by reviews, Worst Case Analysis, releases of technical reports, BOM and other technical relevant documentation) * Provide technical HW expertise within the Electronics technology with deep knowledge of one or more products (Inverter, OBC, DCDC, BMS etc) * Management, development, and expansion of specialist technical know-how * Be willing and open to develop competences within new areas depending on customer requests. * Comprehensive work with the customer including: * Technical authority and decision-maker on assigned projects within his field of responsibility * Translate customer needs into technical requirements in customer work environment. * Ensure the accuracy and quality of work according to the relevant guidelines and processes * Supports business development by providing expertise in customer meetings as well as supporting the acquisition process of project proposals, including follow-up projects and/or project extension * Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronic engineering or experience in electrical circuit design for Automotive electronics. * 3-5 years automotive experience in design/implementation of electrical components and systems.  * General working knowledge of Electrical Vehicles.  * Experience with design of one or more HV or LV components (e.g. Inverter, OBC/DCDC, Controllers, BMS, BCU). * Knowledge about testing and qualification of electronic components in Automotive. * Working knowledge about surrounding components design like: EMC filters, power supplies, gate drivers. System Verification Engineer-Charging

We are now looking for a System Verification Engineer within Charging & Traction Voltage System for our client within the automotive industry. You will be working as a consultant in a team out on customer site. The electromobility system testing includes traction voltage system (involving analogue measurements) and functional/software testing. Experience required: -B.Sc in Electrical engineering or similar education or equivalent experience - A few years of experience working with electromobility, power electronics and verification and measurement techniques in function verification and electromobility systems is a must, preferably within the automotive industry. -Experience of test automation and how to make testing efficient and effective. -Experience of verification within traction voltage systems. -Used to working Agile according to SAFe -A plus if you have experience with charging communication protocols. Design Engineer Wiring Harness

We are currently looking for a Wiring Harness Design Engineer for our client in the automotive industry. Job description: The design engineer will be designing harnesses, flexible PCBs and high current/high voltage busbars. The design work also includes plastic/steel fasteners, isolators/protection covers and other parts for the battery disconnect unit (BDU) for both low and high voltage applications. The work will be carried out in an agile team and you will report to Scrum master and Product Owner. Experience required: -Minimum 3 years of experience designing electromechanical components such as harnesses, PCB, busbars, distributions boxes, metallic and plastic fasteners. -Experience from working within automotive industry/product development systems. -Experience from packaging work in tight and complex environments using CATIA V5 and/or Creo with harness module/flattening and Teamcenter.
