About the position Huawei is looking for an experienced 3GPP RAN1 delegate to work with the evolution of 5G and the emergence of 6G. You will be part of one of their Standards and research teams, responsible for generating and evaluating innovative ideas for 5G and next-generation radio networks and associated technologies and solutions. The team addresses 3GPP standardization of current and future communication systems and is responsible for creating and driving Intellectual Property Rights and standardization proposals. The team also communicates standardization activities and trends to other R&D teams and helps coordinate relevant research and development activities. Their research team cooperates with external partners, so you will explore potential University cooperation for emerging research concepts with potential for future radio access technologies. Since their research team covers multiple functional layers and workgroups, you will have the chance to master the complete system, but the focus of research within this position is the physical layer and the functionality covered by 3GPP RAN1. Qualifications & experience • At least 8-10 years of experience as a 3GPP RAN1 delegate is required. • It is a significant plus if you hold the positions of rapporteur or feature lead for work or study items. • Exposure to 6G research is a plus • Experience in innovation and IPR is a significant plus. Technical Expert in Thermal solutions

We seek a technical expert in thermal solutions for electronics to join Huawei R&D in Stockholm. You will conduct thorough investigations, searches, paper readings, university communications, and conference attendance to determine trends and research directions that will fit the research projects running for Huawei Sweden. These projects include thermal, mechanics, material surface treatments and (to some extent) RF integration technologies. Search for excellent resources in Europe and establish cooperation relationships with them: Search for first-class research institutes and universities in fields such as passive RF component design, materials, and techniques, and establish communication and cooperation relationships with them to improve product competitiveness. Research Leader - Specialist Base station technology

We seek a leading expert ready to drive the evolution of mobile network and base station technology into the timeframe of 5.5G and 6G. Responsibilities You will be responsible for researching next-generation architecture and designing wireless base stations. Develop a new BTS concept to be the base for the family of next-generation base stations (macro and networks). You will lead the BTS systemization work for all BTS-related functions from the antenna unit to the baseband. It will also include aspects of product practice and life cycle costs. You will work with an experienced team of BTS system engineers based in Gothenburg. The work will be done closely with a wireless research organization in Shanghai, China. The role will require travelling both within Sweden and to wireless organizations in Shanghai. Radio Frequency Expert, Research Leader

We seek a Radio Frequency Expert expert - Research Leader to join Huawei R&D in Stockholm to take on the challenge of defining future radio solutions The role To lead complex RF engineering research, aiming for significantly improved RF hardware solutions for future base stations. You aim to work as a technical strategy expert for Huawei´s Board Engineering team in the RF area. You should be familiar with the academic research environment and have a proven understanding of how to carry out and demonstrate new ideas in the research phase in close cooperation with corresponding teams in HQ. The position should drive technology studies, sometimes with the top universities, sometimes with global component suppliers and sometimes with internal conceptual engineering projects to contribute unique technical value for future radio solutions. The work will be done closely with Huawei´s teams in Kista and their head office in China. Requirements (Note: The antenna part of the RF chain is not Huawei´s priority for this position) PhD in RF/microwave with five or more years of related engineering experience in research organizations or commercial companies.
