Senior Engineer Product Technology

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a senior engineer. In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Leading anode material development activities for next generation batteries
• Developing new materials for advanced Li ion batteries & next generation batteries
• Testing samples (including sample handling, analysis of results, and maintenance of test equipment)
• Designing new test protocols and procedures for new material R&D
• Evaluating and investigating new materials for Li ion batteries & next generation batteries
• Close communication with relevant teams and collaboration with external partners
• Monitoring new technologies and literatures regarding Li ion batteries and next generation batteries
• Generating new IPs (Intellectual Properties)

We believe that you have

• MSc or PhD degree in engineering (material, chemical, mechanical or similar)
• Hands-on laboratory experience
• Experience of using analysis equipment such as SEM, XPS, etc.
• Good understanding on battery materials
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills with relevant teams
• Excellent English written and oral skills
• Excellent skills for Microsoft offices (word, excel, ppt)
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
