Mechanic Hot Mill We are looking for an experienced mechanic for hot mill area to take responsibility for preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on our production lines. In this role, you will collaborate with operators, technicians, and other production personnel to identify and implement improvements. You will work with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as troubleshooting and replacing equipment as needed. Mechanic - Cranes and Lifting Equipment We are looking for an experienced mechanic in cranes and lifting equipment to take responsibility for both preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems crucial to our production operations. In this role, you will work closely with operators, technicians, and other maintenance staff to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance of lifting systems and associated equipment. Qualifications • Vocational or high school diploma in a mechanical field, with strong maintenance knowledge. • Welding certificate and/or crane operator license highly sought. • Valid safety certifications relevant to working at heights and handling heavy equipment. Experience • Significant experience from similar role within heavy industry, such as steel mills, manufacturing, or mining. • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards. • Knowledgeable in the correct application and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Skills & Attributes • Role model for promoting a strong safety culture • Ability to coach and mentor less experienced colleagues. • Organized, independent, and detail-oriented with a collaborative approach. • Ability to work at heights and be physically fit to carry tools and parts upstairs when accessing cranes located in high positions. • Have adequate vision, with no vision impairment (e.g. colorblindness) • Proficiency in English; Swedish language skills are advantageous. Mechanic Continuous Casting We are looking for an experienced mechanic for continuous casting area to take responsibility for preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on our production lines. In this role, you will collaborate with operators, technicians, and other production personnel to identify and implement improvements. You will work with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as troubleshooting and replacing equipment as needed. By contributing to the optimization of maintenance programs and ensuring a safe and clean working environment, you will play a key role in supporting an efficient and sustainable production process. Responsibilities: • Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on our production lines. • Collaborate with operators, technicians, and other production staff to identify and communicate improvements. • Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. • Read and update technical documentation when needed to ensure accurate information. • Inspect components for wear, vibrations, or insufficient lubrication. • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components. • Repair and replace equipment as needed. • Actively contribute to the optimization of maintenance programs and continuous improvement. • Train others on specific maintenance tasks. • Evaluate the need for spare parts for equipment. • Maintain good cleaning routines and a safe working environment together with the team. • Ensure safe working conditions with Lock Out, Tag Out procedures during repairs and inspections. Process Operator Hydrogen Plant As a Process Operator in our hydrogen plant, you ensure the safe and efficient production of hydrogen through electrolysis. Your day begins with reviewing shift logs and checking the electrolyzer system for proper operation—monitoring voltage, current, pressure, and water levels via the control system. You continuously monitor the process, perform routine checks, and read instruments across the plant during regular rounds. You ensure the ultra-pure water supply remains stable, take water and chemical samples for lab testing, and respond promptly to any alarms or process deviations. You also monitor gas purity, perform safety checks on valves, pressure gauges, and piping, and coordinate with maintenance when needed. Accurate logging and clear communication during shift handovers are key parts of your role. You will frequently collaborate with other departments such as quality control, production, and maintenance. Together, you will work to optimize processes and ensure smooth and efficient production. Responsibilities: • Operate and monitor rolling mill machines to shape and dimension steel material in the hot rolling process. • Adjust settings to ensure quality and uniformity in the steel material. • Use control panels and systems to monitor production parameters such as speed, thickness, and heat levels. • Tasks may involve climbing ladders and stairs. • Ensure orderliness to promote a safe and efficient work environment. • Actively contribute to creating a safe working environment by participating in the development and maintenance of process control and safety procedures. • Be a role model by fostering a culture where safety is always the top priority, and coach and guide less experienced colleagues to create a safe and efficient workplace together. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Documented qualifications in workplace safety (e.g., OSHA, confined space work, working at heights). • Experience in developing work methods and participating in development projects. • Hot work certification. • Additional certifications (e.g., driver's license, forklift certification, crane operator certificate, welding certificate) are an advantage. • Good knowledge of English; basic knowledge of Swedish is a plus. • Driver's license B.
