Your New Role We are seeking an experienced legal operations professional to join our client’s Legal Ops team for a temporary parental leave coverage. Together with the Legal Affairs organization, they deliver efficient, scalable, and innovative support to the company’s growing business. They manage contract workflows, outside counsel relationships, strategic legal planning, and legal operations projects. In this role, you will take ownership of key legal operations workstreams, with a primary focus on legal billing and vendor management. You will ensure operational excellence in managing their legal e-billing processes and support the Legal Affairs team in financial oversight and vendor relationships. What You'll Do: Manage and optimize our client’s e-billing system (Brightflag), including overseeing billing processes, tracking spends across platforms, managing accruals and analysis, managing regular controls, and ensuring compliance with billing guidelines. Provide daily support for the legal e-billing system, resolving invoice issues, responding to inquiries, and training internal teams on vendor management processes. Partner with the finance team and law firms to manage invoicing, accruals, and reporting on budgets, costs, and resource utilization for financial oversight. Oversee vendor and outside counsel management, including supporting fee arrangement negotiations, managing law firm engagement letters, and developing a preferred law firm panel program. Advise the Legal Affairs team on budget strategies, spend optimization, and alternative fee arrangements with external legal service providers. Som Compliance Officer arbetar du med att stötta verksamheten med att säkra intern och extern regelefterlevnad samt att dataskyddslagstiftning för enheten efterföljs (dataskydds-compliance omfattar även dotterbolag). Genom att identifiera och hantera efterlevnadsrisker bidrar Compliance Officer till att minimera juridiska och finansiella risker för företaget. Dessutom främjar Compliance Officer en kultur av korrekthet och etiskt agerande, vilket bidrar till att bygga förtroende både internt och externt. Verksamhetsövergripande nyckelroll med stort eget ansvar. Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter: Arbeta med regelefterlevnad inom koncernen. Stödja verksamheten vid implementering av nya regelverk och säkerställa att utbildning tillhandahålls. Säkra regelefterlevnad inom EU:s dataskyddsförordning GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) gällande personuppgiftshantering inom enheten och dotterbolag. Driva initiativ och projekt inom området datadriven verksamhet. Driva/stödja verksamhetsutvecklingsprojekt. Bevaka ny lagstiftning. I din roll kommer du att vara en del av avdelningen Operational Excellence som består av experter inom verksamhetsutveckling, digitalisering och compliance. De samarbetar tätt ihop med våra operativa linjeorganisationer samt ledningsgruppen och flera andra funktioner inom hela organisationen. För att bli framgångsrik i denna roll behöver du Juristexamen, affärsjuridisk examen eller annan relevant utbildning. Flerårig arbetslivserfarenhet inom juridik eller GDPR alternativt något eller några års arbetslivserfarenhet av arbete med compliance-frågor och relaterade områden (juridik, riskhantering, internrevision). Erfarenhet av att upprätthålla användningen av data och information i enlighet med lagar Erfarenhet av GDPR arbete och erfarenhet från datadriven verksamhet är meriterande Meriterande: Erfarenhet från energibranschen. Meriterande: Erfarenhet inom ePrivacy Regulation. Vem är du? Vi söker en person som har förmågan att vara "spindeln i nätet", vilket innebär att du har en stark förmåga att samordna, analysera och sortera input från många olika kontaktytor. Du har erfarenhet av informationssäkerhetsarbete och är väl förtrogen med projektledning och utbildning inom området. Vidare har du kompetens inom system för rapportering och övervakning, riskhantering samt dokumenthantering, och kan effektivt använda dessa för att säkerställa att verksamhetens processer och rutiner följer bästa praxis och aktuella säkerhetskrav.
