Role Overview: As a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Engineer, you will join a collaborative team focused on designing, developing, and maintaining electrical HIL rigs at both component and domain levels. These rigs enable early-stage integration and verification of hardware and software by simulating real vehicle environments using advanced Vector tools. Your work ensures that HIL systems evolve to support emerging technologies such as electrification and autonomous driving. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of HIL rigs. Drive integration efforts across multiple product domains. Commission and validate HIL test objects. Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including harnesses and simulations. Manage ECU updates and component configurations on HIL rigs. Develop network simulations (Gateways, signal manipulation, etc.). Support manual software downloads for core ECUs. Profile: You are a problem-solver with a collaborative mindset, capable of managing multiple tasks in parallel. Qualifications: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or similar. 5+ years of relevant experience. Hands-on experience with HIL and automated test systems using Vector tools. Proficiency in Python and CAPL for scripting and automation.
