Job Responsibilities • You will work with “Design and Installation of Propeller Shaft” for both conventional and electric vehicles within the TRATON Group. • As a Design Engineer you will be a member in a VCT-Team and work in a value flow to develop components with high customer value. • You will collaborate with engineers, procurement teams, and global brands to ensure seamless integration of products. • You will be a part of the team to develop the future Propeller Shaft Program and secure function and robustness of your components and sub-system with respect to weight, cost manufacturability and mountability. • You will use CAD/Catia in your daily work with design and analysis. • As your tasks will range from problem analysis to problem solving, you need to be a good communicator and team player. • Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. Who You Are We are seeking a self-motivated designer who is eager to learn and capable of working independently. Ideally, you have a technical background with expertise in forging, bearings, and installation processes. Your curiosity and interest in technology drive your understanding of product lifecycles and technical solutions.
