We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager with a background in either mechanical or electrical engineering to lead initiatives for one of our clients in the clean energy/electrification sector. As a key member of our clients team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities: • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple projects simultaneously, from concept development through to completion. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables for our client. • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, and ensure adherence to project timelines and financial targets. • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Manage project documentation, including contracts, specifications, drawings, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness for our client. • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment for our client. • Monitor project progress, identify issues and obstacles, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track for our client. • Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to internal and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely manner on behalf of our client. The project will focus on assessing and validating the implementation of new solutions and technologies at the three RIs involved. Some examples of scientific objectives: • Providing an efficient solar power generation through the optimisation of equipment. • Ensuring a powerful energy storage system. • Developing a methodology to optimise waste heat recovery projects. For this project we are now in search of three engineers/researchers with different focus areas.
