Automation engineer H2 Green Steel offers an exciting opportunity for an Automation Engineer to be part of building Europe's first green steel mill, crucial to our mission to decarbonise hard-to-abate industries. As a key member of our operations team in Boden, you will contribute to the design and engineering of automation systems for the plant. We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in driving large, innovative, and challenging automation projects. Your proven track record should demonstrate the successful implementation of advanced automation systems in relevant industries. Responsibilities: - Responsible for server computers, setup modeling and reference distribution system, data management systems, communication systems and other control equipment. - Work directly with all maintenance and operations personnel in a fast-paced environment to help develop a safety focused and productive team. - Educate others in the electrical department on the function and maintenance of the automation systems. - Support plant operations and work with the quality/IT departments to help attain production goals. - Support technicians in other areas to maintain a reliable automation system plant-wide. - Manage the design, development, implementation, and procurement of hardware and/or software for automation improvement projects and provide support for other disciplines’ projects. Qualifications: - Demonstrated safety focus and willingness to proactively apply it in a team environment - Quality and detail oriented with superior problem solving and communication skills - Highly motivated, self-directed, hands-on approach, and willing to put in extra hours or on-call support - Significant automation experience in the metals industry - Experience with server and network device configuration and maintenance - Experience with PLC programing (Siemens preferred), data acquisition/analysis, and HMI programming - High level programming with experience in C++, C#, Java, database administration, Visual Studio, MS Windows server/system administration, MS productivity tools, TCP/IP communications - Familiarity with SMS equipment. - Startup and/or greenfield experience. Metallurgy manager As metallurgy manager, you are in charge of the teams growth, expansion and improvement. You report directly to the Head of steel mill and are a member of its management team. Metallurgical development provides technical assistance to the manufacturing organisation while also pursuing mission-driven development with an emphasis on quality, the environment, and economics. Priority initiatives include process control approaches and manufacturing procedures for state of the art steel production. Responsibilities: - Maintain excellence in safety, health, and environmental practices. - Build up your team of engineers, manage and develop the team. - Work with operations managers on strategies and technology development. - Drive a culture of continuous improvement both in technology and safety. - Responsible for managing the team to disposition and release products of different production units. Qualifications: - Degree in Metallurgy or related field with experience in carbon steels, micro alloys, HSLA, UHSS, electrical steels. - Preference given to startup or mini mill/EAF experience. - Experience in ISO, VDA, IATF and other certifications. - In-depth knowledge understanding of industry standards such as ISO, DIN, JIS etc. - In-depth knowledge of steel making and process plants, EAF thru galvanizing. - Support sales in order entry, customer claims and customer onboarding. - In-depth knowledge of mechanical and chemical testing. - Experience in product development in an production environment. Qualifications: - Relevant degree in engineering or relevant industry experience. - Experience in greenfield projects, startups or commissioning. - Electricity authorization (Elbehörighet). - Strong process and technical knowledge in electrical systems, automation control, and PLC programming. - Experience in ISO systems 9001/14001/45001. - Experience in SMS level 1 & level 2 systems. - Automation - Siemens PLCS7, HMI, SCADA. - Insight in digital tools for maintenance. - Proficiency in using relevant software and tools Office suite, CMMS systems etc. - Exceptional leadership and team management skills. - Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards. - Very good communication skills in English. Basic Swedish skills is seen as a plus. You will be working cross-functionally between all the departments and drive the PMO strategy for our projects, and supporting the corporate development within Hexicon. Besides this, you will be in charge of managing and expanding the PMO department.  To be successful in the role of PMO Manager, you should be familiar with implementing improvement processes and have a detail-oriented mindset. You should also have an extensive experience with project management, and strategic development processes, be able to support where necessary, and not be afraid to coach the project teams on new standards and processes.      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE  - Develop and implement project management standards, templates and processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality across projects - Track the progress of each project via project reports and update progress dashboards for management and stakeholders - Schedule, plan, and programme projects in Primavera P6 and/or MS Projects while working closely with the Project Managers - Support M&A processes by managing data rooms and lead document control - Work with key stakeholders to identify, analyze and assess project risks. Radio Frequency Expert, Research Leader

We are looking for a radio frequency expert for Huawei's R&D engineering lab to take on the challenge of defining future radio solutions. Duties To lead complex RF (Radio Frequency) engineering research assignments, aiming for significantly improved RF hardware solutions for future base stations. This position will work as a technical strategy expert for our Board Engineering team in the RF area. You should be familiar with the academic research environment and have a proven understanding of how to carry out and demonstrate new ideas in the research phase in close cooperation with corresponding teams in HQ. The position will drive technology studies with the top universities, global component suppliers and internal conceptual engineering projects to contribute unique technical value for future radio solutions. Skills required PhD in RF/microwave with more than five years of related engineering experience in research organisations or commercial companies. Assistant professor and professor background is a plus. A chief expert or scientist with an RF/microwave company background is a plus. Expertise in conceptual design and comparison of various solutions from both the cost and functionality perspective. Fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional skills required Strong knowledge of the theory and practice of RF/microwave components (Integrated Passive Devices or Filter), enabling them to serve as a technical leader. Publishing of RF/microwave papers and books is a plus. Good knowledge of RF/microwave materials that help apply and develop new materials. Publishing of tunable material papers and books.
