Data Center Manager Floor & Hardware Management

Job Description The Data center & Cloud operations team in Vattenfall is responsible for all infrastructure on-premise and cloud based operations. IT in Vattenfall has a "cloud first" strategy. Due to laws and regulations, among other things, this is not 100% possible. As a result, we also have a fair amount of applications that needs to retain in our own on -premise data centers. Your Job as Floor and Hardware Manager As Floor and Hardware Manager in the Data Center Supporting Services department you are in charge off the Floor- and Hardware Management team. Everything related to DC facility (cooling, power supply, fire distinguish systems), floor management, hardware fault response and physical security is managed within your team. You will be responsible for a team of 10 colleagues located in our on-premise Datacenters in Vattenfall IT (Amsterdam, Hamburg and Stockholm) and the delivery and installation of the Hardware equipment. Your key activities will be: Leading change and developing the team Perform employee meetings; salaries setting, performance reviews and performance contracts (group/individual targets) Ensure security by maintaining policies and following the security guidelines Allocate resources to internal initiatives and projects Delegate tasks and follow-up on the results Monitoring the workload of the team members Build and maintain relationships with your stakeholders Act as SPOC for Security, Facility and Distribution departments Ensure compliancy with VF processes and law- and regulations Qualifications You enjoy leading people and have gained some experience doing so in a Data Centre environment. Furthermore you bring: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). General knowledge about Data Center Facility and security processes (ISO27001) General knowledge about IT hardware (Compute, Storage Network) Good (people) management, communication skills, problem solving and collaboration skills. Ability to work affectively in a diverse, international team Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of the local language (Swedish) is a plus. As the job is related to National Security Information systems, a positive Security vetting according to Swedish rules defined by Svenska Kraftnät will be needed.
